I’m Carlisle Nichole, a veteran Content Strategist and Social Marketing expert
You might know me as the Social Media Manager for some of your favorite brands or an outspoken lover of growing authentic, engaged communities on social media, but I'm also a lover of the enneagram and cheesy reality TV.
I’ve been working professionally in social media marketing since 2013 (ya know, back when Twitter had more users than Instagram) but I’ve been a lover of social media since 2005 when I created my first MySpace account!
Some of the highlights of my career include guiding strategies that helped reach 250k Instagram followers in under two years, increase traffic from social by 150% YoY and gained more unique users in one month on Instagram over the site of the 2nd largest natural health website in the United States.

All of those achievements, as well as others that aren’t listed, happened because of a heavy focus on one thing: engagement.
But, what is engagement? And how do I find it? And what can I do with it once I know where it is?
No worries. That’s where I come in!
I created Social by Carlisle to be a resource for anyone with an interest or a professional focus in growing an engaged, authentic community on social media + specifically Instagram. From planning and creating content through strategic performance reviews, Social by Carlisle empowers influencer seekers, small business owners and social media mangers to post with purpose.
Okay, now I’m gonna get cheesy.
There’s no limit on the number of people that we can follow, which means that there’s no reason I should keep all the lessons I’ve learned over the past 6 years to myself. Plus, I’d love to experience the next 6 together (so maybe the fails won’t suck so hard, and the successes will be even sweeter.)
